Remote Learning: We hope that our students are all able to fully engage in the offered learning opportunities each week. Please continue to communicate with your child(ren)’s teacher(s) on any questions or concerns you may have.
As a reminder, teachers and administrators will have planning sessions each Thursday. Please make sure that Mondays-Thursdays your child(ren) are logging in every day or using the printed materials to complete their assignments. Please save all worksheets completed during remote learning. We will make arrangements to collect all completed worksheets if your student did not participate in the online remote learning plans.
ESY PAPER BASED INSTRUCTION PICK-UP/DROP-OFF: Students completing paper-based instruction will have the second ESY pick up on July 7, 2020. This date will also serve as a drop off date for completed work.

1. GLA Registration Packets: We are updating our program registration packets. We are planning to have the documents updated and completed by mid-July. You will receive the packets digitally (if you have access to print) or by mail if necessary.
2. IMPORTANT REMINDER: Please note if you have not completed the residency/registration requirements for your home school district your student will be dropped from enrollment at Guiding Light Academy. Please contact your school district directly if you have questions or concerns about the district registration process.
3. Academic Calendar: Please see the attached calendar for the 2020-2021 school year.
